Brewed in Mexico since 1910, Estrella Jalisco has been a local favorite throughout Jalisco for decades. Anheuser-Busch wanted to tap the growing Latino market in America, but focus groups revealed the beer’s design needed help. They hired DDW to solve the problem.

We did a comprehensive overhaul of the brand design, sweating every detail with an upside down exclamation point. The crest. The typeface. The colors. They matter very much to the discerning eye of the Latino and gringo beer drinker.

The data has yet to be crunched, as Estrella Jalisco launched in March 2016, but it’s looking like America has a new favorite Mexican beer.
