Recrafting the King’s signature.

The King of Beers needed to finesse its brand identity to appeal to thirsty Millennials, while also staying true to its storied 1876 heritage – and, of course, its diehard loyalist fans.

Anheuser-Busch asked DDW to take on this Clydesdale-sized challenge.

DDW pored through the archives to learn the brand’s storied history and to truly understand its heart and soul.

We then curated the Budweiser’s classic design elements, re-scripting the exquisite letterforms of the original logotype and creating a clean, bold expression that struck the perfect balance of past and future.

The result was stunning, and worthy of a celebration with some ice-cold Buds, of course.
